04GOOD TO KNOW
Before you begin.
A few simple answers about downloading and keeping your reading safe.
What do I need to install it?
An Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or later. Download the APK and allow installation from your browser or Files app if Android asks. This app is distributed directly, not through Google Play.
Can I read without internet?
Yes. The Bible reader and bundled study resources work offline. Local offline narration uses a compatible installed English voice. Some externally sourced article content or images may still need internet.
Will I lose my highlights or notes when updating?
Installing a newer signed APK over the existing app is designed to preserve reading progress and personal study. Do not uninstall or clear the app's data. Export your study backup before any major change.
How are app updates delivered?
The app has a built-in update feature. Signed reading-content updates can arrive without reinstalling the Android app; native app changes require an APK update. You can also download the latest APK here at any time.
How can I verify the download?
Every latest release includes a SHA-256 checksum from the official release feed. You can compare it with your downloaded APK's checksum using a trusted file utility.
