HELP CENTER

Before you begin.
Good to know.

Do I need an Android device?

No. You can use the web/desktop Bible reader at neo-nexus-eva.pages.dev in a supported desktop or mobile browser, without installing the APK.

What Android version is required?

The currently published Android app requires at least Android 8.0 (API 26). Refer to the latest release page for file size and version number.

Can I read without internet?

Yes. The Android application includes an offline Bible reader and bundled study resources. Some externally sourced article content or images may still need internet. In the supplied 1.5.3 APK, an offline Piper voice model is included. Other published versions may rely on a compatible installed Android English voice.

Does narration work offline?

The supplied Android 1.5.3 APK bundles Piper LibriTTS-R for offline narration. Earlier releases may use installed Android Text-to-Speech English voices instead. The available controls and voice options depend on the installed version and device.

Will updating delete my notes?

Installing a newer correctly signed APK over the existing app is designed to preserve reading progress and study data. Do not uninstall or clear app data when upgrading; export a backup before major changes.

Do web and Android share data automatically?

No. Browser origins and Android app storage are separate. Use the app's My study export and import options to move compatible study information between experiences. Export before switching browser domains.

How do updates work?

Reading-content updates can arrive as verified signed packages without reinstalling the Android APK. Native changes use a newly signed APK. The official release feed controls the latest Android download.

Why is the app not on Google Play?

Neo Nexus Evangelion is distributed directly as signed Android APK files. This download website is not affiliated with Google Play.

Can I install an older APK?

Downgrading usually requires removing a newer installed version. Uninstalling can erase local study data, so export your backup before changing to an older version. The latest release is recommended.

How do I verify an APK?

Use the SHA-256 hash on the Downloads page. Calculate your downloaded file's SHA-256 with a trusted utility and compare the complete hash. Always obtain releases from the official site.
